The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is carried out in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and involves climbing Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. It is seen as a classic mountain walking challenge in the UK, and has been carried out for many years.
For more information, see the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge website. It is often seen as a precursor to the National Three Peaks Challenge.
This website is part of the Peak Network - a range of websites concerning hill walking challenges, including the Yorkshire Three Peaks and National Three Peaks Challenge, as well as the little known Four Peaks Challenge.
